1. About this app

hermes gmail watcher ("the App") is a personal tool used exclusively with the developer's own Gmail account. It is not a public service, and no users other than the developer can use it.

2. Google API scopes used

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.labels
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.settings.basic

These scopes are used only to read messages and apply labels. The App never sends or deletes email.

3. How data is handled

• All processing takes place in an environment managed by the developer.
• Message subjects, senders, and portions of message bodies are processed in that environment and by an AI classification model used by the developer, solely to classify messages by importance.
• Notifications are sent only to the developer's own Slack and Pushover accounts.
• Data is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.

4. Compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy

The App's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data retention and revocation

• Processing logs are stored only in the developer's own environment.
• OAuth access granted to the App can be revoked at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
